This is part 3 of Monday Morning Mentoring. I have learned much from this volume and I thought that I would share some thoughts. The past 2 monday lessons are linked at the bottom of this post.

Part 3 Escape from Management Land

Some thoughts …

Don’t take your best workers/employees for granted.

Some workers want to contribute more, but don’t because they aren’t asked.

Make sure your team has a clear understanding of what the main thing is.

One of the main things for a leader is to eliminate confusion – which can paralyze your team – because with confusion comes fear, anxiety, and blurred vision.

There are always ‘busy’ things to do in management land. If you are not careful, the stacks of paper become the priority.

Many leaders become is engrossed by the management tasks they forget the working relationship with their team.

Get in touch with your people.

Have a great week!
