Vacation Reflections

by Robert

We are back home!

Arlene and I had a great time on vacation. We spent the majority of our time in Michigan at Holland and Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas.

In Holland we visited the windmill that was brought over from the Netherlands, visited some Dutch attraction, saw a sunset on Lake Michigan, and enjoyed a comfortable B & B.

In Grand Rapids we visited the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum and used GR as a base of operations for much of the stuff that we wanted to see. We also connected with some of Arlene’s friends and were able to visit some of the places that she grew up at.

Baker Book House was phenomenal! Tens of thousands of used books. It was a dream come true.

On our way home we visited Arlene’s sister and her family, and my grandmother and uncle.

So that is a brief overview of our vacation. Here are a few of the many pics that we took.
