I am curious about the fascination of social networking sites. The “mother” of social networking is myspace, but my filter prevents me from accessing myspace. I will probably post some thoughts about myspace in the future. On to facebook.
Here is an article from the Wall Street Journal that mentions the fascination of facebook. I have set up a facebook account – you can see it on the right hand side. You will need a free account before you can view much. I am going to be honest, I don’t know if I am a facebook person. But I wanted to try it out and see what it is all about,

I recently read a book for parents about internet safety for kids, and the author likened social networking sites and contemporary soda shops. I kind of agree with that analogy.
I just finished reading myspace mykids last evening. I have some serious concerns about myspace and will probably share them on my blog soon. Thanks for checking in!
