Why We Do What We Do

I received this nice email yesterday from Jennifer regarding Angel Food Ministry. Emails like this are priceless to me. And the thank yous reinforce why we do what we do.

Dear Pastor Booth,

After reading “Voice of Salvation”, I felt compelled to write to you regarding my recent experience with your Angel Food Ministry program.  This past Saturday, my sister, mother and myself picked up our very first AFM food box.  Not only were we unbelievably satisfied with the value, quality and amount of food we received, but were made to feel so welcome by your volunteers.  Not only did someone call to advise us the truck would be late, but everyone from the moment we entered to the moment we left was so kind.  There were so many smiling faces and “Have a wonderful day” that we were overwhelmed by the experience.  And I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.  And someone even took my sister’s package to her car in the pouring rain.  Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity and experience.    We will most certainly be purchasing AFM every month.
