Random thoughts after sixty hours
- Kalena is beautiful! I know, I know, she is my little girl and I am supposed to think that and I do!
- Arlene was incredible! I read and tried to prepare myself for the delivery, but I still really wasn’t prepared. I was with Arlene for all of her delivery and let me just say that my admiration for her has never been stronger.
- I don’t think I will ever complain about pain. In fact, the greatest amount of pain that I have ever felt was to watch Arlene in pain.
- It is incredible to watch Kalena. The two nights at the hospital I stood by her crib and just watched her sleep.
- We had an incredible doctor and nurse. They were awesome.
- Hospitals need to invest in some more comfortable beds for the daddy. It was a chair that semi-converted into a very uncomfortable bed. I tried to sleep on that for two nights. Not so much.
- Kalena means flower.
- God is teaching me some incredible lessons about Him through Kalena.
- Did I mention that Kalena is beautiful??
