On this date, June 17, 1703, John Wesley was born. John was the father of the Methodist movement. In his desire to spread the Gospel, it is said that he traveled over 250,000 miles and preached more than 40,000 sermons. Together with his brother, Charles Wesley, they have impacted the world and the Wesleyan emphasis is still being spread today.
