Random Christmas Eve thoughts
- It is so hard to believe that Christmas is tomorrow!
- Really thankful that much of my energy is finally back. Now to get caught up on everything that I didn’t get done this past month!
- I am really enjoying seminary, but glad that I don’t have to go back until February 2.
- When people ask me my major, I tell them Historical and Theological Studies (which is true), it is fun to watch their eyes glaze over and watch their body quiver
- Really excited about our Christmas Eve Service. I preach at our Christmas Eve services and have fun doing it!
- Arlene and I are having an incredible fun time with Kalena. She is into everything, full of expressions and learning new words and actions everyday!
- My favorite thing to do with her is to sit down for dinner and tell her it is time to pray. She holds out her hands for our hands and bows her head. I never get tired of watching that!
- God has really helped the Gospel Center this year.
- Honestly, the past two years have been exhausting, both emotionally and spiritually. Several leaders I have talked to have told me that years 5-7 of ministry are sometimes the toughest. That has been so true in our lives.
- But that gives me hope! I believe the best days are right around the corner!
- Pray that the Gospel Center gets additional space this year – we really need it.
- Have a wonderful Christmas eve! And if you live locally, our service starts tonight at 6pm.
